We're looking for a Planner to join our Natural Resources team on our Thames Water contract, working on infrastructure and non-infra water and wastewater assets.

 

Location: working from home and sites in the Northern Thames Valley region 

Contract: Permanent, Full Time – flexible and part time hours may be available if desired, just let us know

 

What will you be responsible for?

We're looking for a Planner to join our NRNN ater business unit. This role will suit someone with medium to large scale Non-infrastructure project or portfolio experience, in the ICHEME contract environment.

Your day to day will include:

Lead the planning to deliver all programme and project controls outputs for a portfolio of works, under ICHEME contract conditions. Be the programme and planning conscience on a water asset management programme of works. Review, and where required, produce programmes for acceptance, impact programmes, project controls dashboards, reports and programme narratives, from 1st principles. Analyse contract metrics, making improvement recommendations and support the commercial team to ensure accurate forecasts, with reference to programme, are produced. Review resource loading, and maintain schedule resources in a Primavera P6 environment, to support project management decisions on sequences of work.

What are we looking for?

This role of Planner is great for you if:

UK, NEC/ICHEME contract based Planning experience. Must have experience of civils and MEICA based projects in the water industry and within Planning. Thorough experience and understanding of programming techniques and have a good understanding of commercial and contractual matters. Competency in the use of Primavera P6.
