You are an experienced Planner and Scheduler with a construction background. As the Scheduler, you will be responsible for the planning, development and coordination of the project schedule including tracking issues, analyzing data and providing reports to key stakeholders and clients.

Essential Responsibilities

Prepare and distribute the schedule including any required updatesMonitor and reports on progress of work and any problems that affect the planned scheduleContribute to the development & planning of construction work with discipline superintendents & coordinatorsDevelop work sequencing and staging requirements.Prepare staging plans in coordination with superintendents, and traffic management teamSupport the senior schedules on projects and identifies and records the impact of work performed and not performed as scheduled. Including resource loading / levelling, baselining, look-aheads, & what-if analysis’Consult the appropriate project team members as a means of ensuring that proper planning is completed prior to the commencement of workProvide information as needed on the content, modification, or presentation of project schedule and works with Construction/Project Managers to modify schedule as neededExpand and updates professional knowledge and hones training skills in order to enhance individual and team innovation and productivityCombine information from all disciplines into an integrated and sensible schedule. Analyze data and report progress of work, including critical path, earned value, and any issues that affect the planned scheduleUnderstand changes in sequence & paths of construction. Provide input to discipline leads of priority work streams & timelines necessary to meet project needs & completion datesCollect information and work with stakeholders at our construction sites. superintendents in board room / trailer.Effectively communicate the outcome of the schedule update development process by presenting targeted and relevant information in an effective formatFacilitate planning execution sessions with construction management & discipline leadsWork with project leadership to make decisions concerning risk and opportunity managementInterface with operations, subcontractors, vendors and owner to discuss impact of work and resolutions for problems or concernsDevelop corrective action plans & mitigation strategies based on schedule & critical path analysisPrepare and present basis of schedule

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in a similar roleEngineering Degree, Technology Diploma or Journeyperson certificateThorough understanding of construction execution strategyExperience using Primavera (P6)Experience with Bluebeam or AutoCADExperience developing/maintaining resource loaded schedulesExperience with linear urban infrastructure projects involving traffic managementProficient in ExcelSuperior organizational and planning abilities

Compensation

$66,400 - $91,300 annually

This is the expected base pay range for this role. Individual base pay will be determined based on a variety of factors including experience, knowledge, skills, education and location.
