For more information, visit our website , or connect with us on LinkedIn . **Responsibilities** The Planner Scheduler will be responsible to manage the production schedule and drive improvements in planning and operational processes; analyze forecasts and inventory changes; provide accurate and timely information to ensure customer requirements are met and site resources are optimized in most efficient method. + Use MRP System to forecast production demand, manage customer forecast, safety stock requirements, and maintain desired inventory levels. + Monitor the schedule and plan production on specific molds and machines. + Monitor production scans; investigate and correct any errors. + Generate reports and analyze data to ensure optimal supply chain flow. + Process and expedite orders and communicate daily with Customer Service Representatives of any concerns. + Monitor slow moving inventory and obsolescence and drive improvements to achieve inventory goals and reduce obsolescence. + Monitor production value. + Work with manufacturing, maintenance and support departments to improve production efficiencies. + Balance current and future customer demand requirements with manufacturing and supplier capabilities. + Make adjustments to forecasts and inventory levels as needed. + Perform month end activities (e.g., close work orders) and prioritize rework activities as needed. + Manage and direct Cycle Counters’ activities. + Support ongoing Plant ISO requirements. + Support the plant and corporate operational goals, + Participate in weekly Scheduling calls, provide feedback and status updates, and facilitate changes to ensure efficient operations planning. + Accepts responsibility to comply with all safety, quality, customer, ISO, SQF and any other regulatory requirements. And has the authority to report concerns that could impact these requirements or suggest areas for improvement. + Other duties as assigned. Contribution to Safety, Quality and GMP + Maintain a clean, healthy and safe workplace by ensuring adherence to safety standards. + Conduct required safety reviews of equipment and processes prior to project start-up. + Support the accomplishment of your work groups through the quality, timeliness and professionalism of your attitude. + Supply accurate and timely data as required by performance tracking and reporting. + Apply resources in a manner that maximizes their effectiveness while assuring quality. + Maintain a work environment that will contribute to the assurance of safety and GMP compliance. + Adhere to established procedures, perform self-checking and pay attention to detail in the performance of you and your team’s work. + Notify management in a timely manner of any problems with procedural compliance. + Report observed quality problems and deficiencies in a timely manner. + Make recommendations to management for improving the quality and efficiency of your work. + Oversee work to ensure projects are completed.
