Our client located in Ajax, Ontario is seeking a Planner/ Scheduler.
CGD certificate required
This will be a day shift position (100% onsite)
Job Title: Repair & Overhaul Expeditor
Pay rate: $24-$27/hr (37 hours per week)
Start date: ASAP (24 months contract)
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Responsible for expediting the flow work throughout the R&O Shop floor in order to meet or exceed required delivery dates.
• Work with the Planners and ODC Coordinator to ensure the availability of parts to meet flow requirements as well as customer expectations.
• Ensure work order kits are complete and ready to build as per the weekly schedule.
• Optimize work processes to improve efficiency.
• Create, maintain, and publish daily and weekly status reports as required.
• Liaise with other departments to ensure part availability.
• Willing to carry AOG phone after hours on a rotational basis.
Requirements• University Degree or College Diploma in Business Administration or related field is preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment with minimal supervision.
• Extensive knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications including Access, PowerPoint, Excel and Word.
• SAP experience an asset.
