In Action

As our Non Green Goods (NGG) Specialist, you'll play a crucial role in managing and optimizing our NGG processes. Your responsibilities will include facilitating the yearly NGG process, encompassing assortment definition, demand planning, and supply planning. You'll lead purchase order management with external suppliers and support sales order management to ensure product availability. A key aspect of your role will be contributing to KPI data generation and maintenance, providing valuable insights for decision-making. You'll also lead and participate in Continuous Improvement projects within YPL Supply Chain, driving efficiency and innovation. Supporting data processing and information creation within your department will be essential, as well maintaining KPIs and serving as a Key User for NGG-related topics.

The Challenge

At Syngenta Flowers, you'll be tasked with optimizing NGG processes, balancing supply and demand dynamics while effectively managing stakeholder expectations. You'll be responsible for efficiently controlling NGG stock and ensuring smooth administrative and financial flows.

A significant part of your role involves handling a yearly budget of €250-€300K purchase value and aiming for >95% availability while minimizing stock levels. You'll need to drive efficiency improvements across the NGG process and support departmental administrative tasks.

Qualifications

Your Profile

We're looking for a candidate with experience in supply chain management, preferably in a horticultural or agricultural setting. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential, as is the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

You should have a minimum MBO level education focusing on administrative skills, and experience or education in continuous improvement methodologies will be highly valuable. Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel, is required, along with fluency in both Dutch and English, both verbal and written.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, possess a critical mindset, think in a process-oriented manner, and maintain a helicopter view of operations.
