PRIMARY PURPOSE:

This position is responsible for the daily planning and scheduling of the production schedule at  PetDine LLC. Work with the operations team to assure an efficient and effective schedule that meets production output and customer services requirements. This includes active, hands-on involvement and daily presence within the facility coordinating and communicating all aspects of the schedule.  This includes assuring all packaging supplies and raw materials are present for production schedules.  This position has a key role in helping assure all products are sequenced in a manner that allow for acceptable food safety and quality standards.   The position works closely with the Quality Assurance Manager, Customer Service representatives, Commercial team and all plant leadership teams.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Active, hands-on involvement and daily presence within the facility.Responsible for the site’s inbound pipeline and inbound planning systems.Achieve customer service metrics (OTIF, ATS) through scheduling performance management and proper finished goods management.Effective and proactive communication.Ability to understand and be proficient in software programs.  (Maximo, Beta, Oracle) (excel, word, etc.)Develops and maintains root-cause corrective action procedures including trend analysis resulting in driving process improvements.Manage and review the production ticket process.Partner with site QA and Production teams to manage and mitigate customer impacts related to finished goods holdsPartner closely with key stakeholders at the Quincy Office dealing with scheduling and production issues.Participates in the monthly sanitation/quality/GMP audits.Monitor stock levels for approved formulas/customers.Plan, execute, audit and reconcile finished goods and raw material inventory cycle countsSchedule batches to be ran to make ship dates while sequencing approved formulas.Remix out of tolerance batches. Adjust the formula in Beta and allocate product to be remixed correctly.Manage and ensure proper flushing and sequencing of batch tickets.Any other tasks deemed necessary by site leadership.Minimum RequirementsHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED) or equivalent1-3 years of manufacturing experienceAbility to drive positive change in both processes, systems, and cultureStrong internal and external customer focus with great follow-upA strong safety aptitudeExcellent verbal and written communication skillsExcited about this role but don’t think you meet every requirement listed?
