Role description:

Arcadis are excited to again be growing their Project and Programme Management team. We are looking for enthusiastic professionals to join our team to work on projects with a focus on sustainability and resilience.

As part of our Programme and Project Management team, you’ll help deliver some of the biggest, most iconic projects imaginable, with some of the best talent around. With your energy, agility and a keen eye for detail, you’ll deliver transformational outcomes for multiple clients every day.

The role sits within our global business area Resilience. We work to protect our natural environment and water resources, while powering our world for future generations. Around the world, we’re feeling the effects climate change, rapid urbanization, loss of biodiversity. The rate at which we’re seeing large-scale, unforeseen events such as floods and wildfires, is becoming more frequent. Role accountabilities:

Onboarding and support of new users to the P6 environment, identifying their privileges and processes. Catering to requests by existing users like import requests of project files and layouts, access requests etc. Troubleshooting issues with planners. Refinement of P6 environment creating new EPS nodes for enterprise partners, managing role-based access control, maintaining project baseline register for all initiatives, project/activity codes, standard global calendars, resource dictionaries. Liaising with Oracle on Service Requests including those for database refresh and P6 upgrade. • Solution design and implementation for new requirements like backup and archiving. Daily routine health checks of overall performance, successful running of daily schedule services for summarization and publication Driving Planning Community meetings to encourage open dialogue with planners of ongoing tasks and informing them of new processes and environment changes.  P6 Schedule Checks to monitor weekly improvements on various project parameters covering logic, lags and constraints, similar to DCMA 14 checks Audit of user activity and notifying users inactive for prolonged periods to make sure unused licenses can be re-assigned to more active users. Ensuring correct reporting of each initiative being reported every month-end. Capacity Planning of P6 license needs and liaising with NG Procurement team to procure new licenses to ensure business continuity. Cleanup of environment by eliminating unused and redundant elements such as unused global calendars, global activity codes, demoting to project level wherever possible to reduce capacity requirements.

 

Qualifications & Experience:

BSc Eng, or equivalent in a relevant discipline At least 5 years of professional experience in consultancy or contracting. Hands-on experience in implementing Primavera P6 EPPM on Oracle cloud. Experience in Risk Administration tools like Active Risk Manager or Safran is a plus.
