In this role, you will lead the strategic planning of spirits availability, ensuring that our production operations never come to a standstill. You will develop and manage raw material planning with a short and medium-term vision, ensuring that every bottle of Ron Diplomático meets the highest quality standards. In addition, you will manage the master production plan for the bottling area, optimizing operational efficiency and ensuring OEE targets are met. Direct, plan and guarantee the availability of alcohols based on short, medium and long term forecasts and requirements, ensuring the operational continuity of the production areas. Develop the material raw planning based on annual forecast and coverage policies, as well direct the master production schedule for the bottle area, guaranteeing the OEE established. All this, complying with the quality, safety and environmental standards established by the organization, as well as promoting the practices of inclusion, diversity and teamwork.
Develop the necessary strategies to guarantee the options storage scheme in Panama, as well as the conditions that guarantee the quality of the product according to its specifications.
Manage the stock of liquids and ensure their timely delivery: Developing and executing the annual rum purchase plan aligned with the strategies defined together
with the strategic planning direction. Guaranteeing the careful management of the types of liquids and the existence of a sufficient quantity of specific liquids available for immediate use in the production process. Supported the survey inventory with the QA
and R&D team.
Determines annual cask requirements for Diplomatico side and collaborates with strategic planner direction on the cask strategy.
Assist with IBS strategic planning: Develop and implement the short, medium term Rum production, supply, and maturation strategies that enables attainment of the long term demand forecast for Diplomatico Rum.
Ensure that the liquid is delivered on time when it is needed and monitor the production of the liquid to ensure proper operation.
Continually seek improvements in productivity, equipment utilization and technology. and share their extensive knowledge with other stakeholders.
Develop the Material Requirement planning Strategics, ensuring the packaging materials requirement plan depending on the forecast, stock policy and sales needs short, medium and long term.
Develop and execute the Bottling planning strategy, ensuring the Master Bottling Schedule requirement plan depending on the forecast and sales needs short, medium and long term. The Bottling plan must consider the lead time per SKU, Efficiency of the Bottling time (OEE), Lines/Crew Occupancy. FGs that are ready for the shipping process must be properly stored and managed.
Required Experience & Education:
Education: College/University (Bachelors or Equivalent); Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related career
Experience: 2-5 years
Job Competencies:
Have a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related career.
At least 2-5 years of experience in positions related to production management, control and monitoring of production, inventory and warehouse programs. At least Five years of experience supervising direct reports.
Demonstrated leadership and vision in managing groups and major projects or
initiatives.
Strong interpersonal skills; able to develop and maintain effective working relationships with all levels of the organization.
Ability to manage and complete assigned workload within established deadlines
and to constantly seek new improvement ideas.
Ability to work under tight time constraints to meet departmental goals.
Ability to implement employee engagement processes and contribute to the
growth of team-based leadership.
