The Planning Manager plays a pivotal role in developing both immediate and long-term strategic plans for meetinghouses. These plans guide leaders in providing appropriate spaces for worship, teaching, learning, covenant-making, and sacred ordinances. An essential functional purpose of this role is to engage with key priesthood leaders, including Area Presidency Members, Area Seventies, Stake and Mission Presidents, and local Bishops and Branch Presidents, effectively and in a Christlike manner. Additionally, the ideal candidate must also be able to communicate effectively with the Area's Regional Facilities Managers, Facilities Managers, Facility Coordinators, Real Estate Project Manager, Life Cycle Manager, Finance Manager, and Construction Project Managers. This position reports to the Area Meetinghouse Planning Manager (AMPM).
