Planning Performance Lead (18 months - Fixed Term Contract)

As part of this transformation a next generation planning model will be introduced, ensuring seamless end-to-end accountability. As part of this initiative, a new organizational structure will be implemented to streamline the current fragmented Supply Chain and enhance capability development. The purpose of this role is to help the Vaccines Planning organization navigate this transformational period and make sure it is ready to take advantage of the new capabilities that will be offered. This role is integral to the Vaccines Planning Leadership Team (VPLT) and will contribute significantly to the success of our Supply Chain transformation efforts. Your responsibilities: Ownership of Vaccines Planning IBP Process: Oversee the Vaccines Planning Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process with the objective of establishing new standard operating procedures and enhancing the maturity of all related processes. Redesign and Sponsorship of SME Community: Redesign and sponsor the Subject Matter Expert (SME) community within Vaccines Planning, fostering an active culture of knowledge sharing and continuous learning across the team. Onboarding Program Development: Develop and coordinate the onboarding program for new hires in Vaccines Planning to ensure a smooth and effective integration into the team. Training and Development: Conduct and coordinate training programs to strengthen the use of processes, systems, and tools, thereby improving efficiency and productivity. Operational Excellence: Lead the Global Production System (GPS) and operational excellence initiatives for Vaccines Planning to enhance efficiency and eliminate waste in planning operations. Risk Management: Lead the Risk Management process for Vaccines Planning to identify, assess, and mitigate potential risks. Supply Chain Performance Initiatives: Recommend and implement key initiatives to drive improved supply chain performance, collaborating with key stakeholder groups such as Regions, Logistics, Procurement, and Finance. Performance Management and Reporting: Lead performance management and reporting initiatives for Vaccines Planning to ensure transparency and accountability. Collaboration with GPO Teams: Act as the primary liaison with Global Process Owner (GPO) teams, Analytics, and Data teams for business requirement setting, tool/ERP template development and improvements, and process reviews. Advocacy for Automation and Digitalization: Promote and advocate for greater use of automation, digitalization, and artificial intelligence (AI) to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness within Vaccines Planning. Why you? Basic Qualifications: We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals: Masters degree in Supply Chain, Business or Engineering. Supply Planning Experience: Minimum of 7 years of practical experience in Supply Planning, preferably within the Pharmaceuticals industry. Expertise in Supply Chain Processes: In-depth knowledge of Supply Chain processes and systems architecture within a business environment. SAP/OMP Proficiency: Demonstrable experience and knowledge of SAP/OMP systems. Continuous Improvement Mindset: Proven ability to identify opportunities for improvement and deliver tangible results. Business Intelligence Integration: Demonstrated ability to extract and integrate business intelligence, including benchmarking data, and conduct scenario planning to optimize the Supply Chain organization. Stakeholder Management: Strong skills in managing and collaborating with various stakeholders. Project Management: Effective project management capabilities to oversee and drive initiatives to completion.
