Material Planner – Pharmaceutical & Cosmetic Products
Location: District 9, HCMCJob Type: Permanent, Full-timeAbout the RoleAre you experienced in material planning and supply chain processes, with a proactive approach to managing procurement activities? We are seeking a Material Planner to oversee Material Requirement Planning (MRP) for pharmaceutical and cosmetic products, ensuring the timely availability of materials in compliance with inventory policies, regulatory requirements, and customs procedures.
In this role, you will manage SAP MRP processes, coordinate with internal teams and external vendors, and provide data updates for cash flow and purchase planning. You will also play a key role in mitigating supply risks while contributing to continuous improvement projects at the manufacturing site.
Main Responsibilities1. Material Planning (Packaging Material for Liquid Workshop):
Manage monthly MRP activities in SAP, including purchase orders and rolling forecast updates to vendors.Oversee material delivery schedules, ensuring customs clearance and material replenishment as per the plan.Handle import permits for imported components, ensuring compliance with pharmaceutical laws and customs regulations.Manage SKU portfolios, including monitoring slow-moving and obsolete inventory (SLOB), and preparing monthly provision reports.Maintain SAP MRP parameters to ensure data consistency across modules (PIR, Production Version, Quota Management).Coordinate with global buyers and vendors to ensure procurement processes run smoothly without risk of supply interruption.Provide cash flow and purchase planning data, including 3-month and 24-month rolling updates and annual budget calculations.2. Compliance and Risk Management:
Ensure all procurement activities comply with local and international regulatory requirements.Mitigate supply risks by monitoring purchase price changes, supply disruptions, and other constraints.Handle import permits in compliance with customs and pharma regulations to avoid delays in material availability.3. General Plant Supply Chain Support:
Support plant supply chain projects and continuous improvement initiatives as assigned by the Supply Chain Manager.Assist with self-inspections and audit preparations related to material planning and procurement activities.About YouEducation and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, or a related field.3-5 years of experience in material planning within the pharmaceutical or manufacturing industry.Strong knowledge of SAP MRP processes and customs regulations for imported components.Core Competencies:
