Plant Assessment Specialist

Does developing new business concepts and driving growth interest you? If so, we are looking for a high energy, self-starter candidate that is excited about leading the commercial strategies and negotiations for our plant assessment portfolio.
The primary focus will be managing the plant assessment process through opportunity qualification, developing strategy and commercial documentation with field sales and various engineering teams for performance / flexibility evaluations and providing high quality recommendations to our customers for improvement to their power generation assets. In the current market, our existing power plant customers need to adapt their operations to stay profitable. Our plant assessment capabilities will be demonstrated to identify tailor-made solutions that will help our customers achieve their goals.
**How You’ll Make an Impact**
+ Grow the business by developing and implementing sales strategies with account managers to promote and sell plant assessments within our existing gas and steam turbine fleet in North America, ultimately identifying up-sell upgrade and flexibility options to meet customer needs. This includes product presentations, demonstrations and technical proposal integration.
+ Work as the regional product owner for the Siemens Energy Advanced Operational Portfolio, interacting with stake holders to ensure alignment and successful implementation of strategies
+ Provide market analysis, target pricing, forecasting and customer segmentation for business development initiatives.
+ Identify and win orders from targeted customers for the product portfolio to meet annual financial targets. Maintain CRM platform data (Salesforce) for all opportunities associated within product portfolio.
+ Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market demands to identify new opportunities and enhance our competitive position.
+ Travel to customer sites, industry events, and conferences as needed to support sales efforts and build relationships with new and existing customers.
**What You Bring**
+ Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field; or equivalent experience (work experience/educational background). 8+ years of experience in engineering, project management, business development, or technical sales.
+ Understanding of combine cycle power plant technology, control systems, design principles, and/or applications is preferred.
+ Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. Self-motivated and results oriented, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment!
+ Experience working in a cross-functional team environment including Sales, Marketing, Engineering, Project Management, and Legal.
+ This position follows our company hybrid work location model. Every employee is required to work from one of our primary office locations a minimum of three (3) days per week, and the remaining days may be worked from an alternate work location (AWL). Willingness to travel domestically as required: Up to 10% travel.
+ Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.
