At our Cascades in Winnipeg, MB you can develop your full potential, sustainably, by applying your expertise within the Containerboard Packaging division of our team as the Plant Buyer - Maintenance:
Collaborate with Maintenance Planners, Technicians, and Reliability Leads to ensure timely procurement for preventive maintenance and breakdown repairs. Manage purchase orders, vendor communications, and inventory logs to maintain an organized storeroom and ensure part availability. Apply best practices in inventory and purchasing management to minimize downtime and support operational efficiency. Build and maintain strong vendor relationships to support long-term partnerships. Propose and implement process improvements to enhance procurement and inventory management systems.

You too, will put forward your strengths:
2 to 5 years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or inventory management (preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment). Strong mechanical aptitude; working knowledge of machanical prosesses required. Strong organizational and planning skills, with a proactive, detail-oriented mindset to manage multiple tasks effectively. Proficiency with SAP and procurement software; familiarity with MRP processes is an asset. Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work seamlessly with internal teams and vendors. High level of autonomy, integrity, and initiative to support operational and sustainability goals.
