Job Description

The Plant Controller is responsible for the accounting and internal controls in a plant environment. This position also supervises various financial transactions, administers the plant's cost control function, and coordinates the plant's forecasting and budgeting.

The Plant Controller should have: 

Knowledge of controlling, including standard cost and manufacturing variance conceptExperience providing financial analysis and building business casesProven ability to communicate across all levels of the organizationA strong desire to work in a manufacturing environment

The Plant Controller will:

Be responsible for planning functions, including budgeting and forecastingManage the balance sheet and P&L statement preparationSupervise fixed assets of the facilitySupervise fixed assets of the facilityExecute monthly Sarbanes-Oxley requirements           Ensure accurate reporting of Lean Six Sigma project savings  Be part of the Plant Leadership Team and contribute to integral business decisions

QualificationsA Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Accounting, Finance, or a related fieldAt least 3 years of related work experienceSarbanes-Oxley experience is preferredStrong verbal/written communication skills and ability communicate effectively with all levels of the organizationKnowledge of Microsoft office applications, and experience with SAP and/or ERP systems preferred Certified Manufacturing Accountant (CMA) is a plus

What we offer at O-I:

Salary Range:  The expected salary range for this position is between $85,000 and $110,000 and includes a possible 12% quarterly incentive bonus.    Actual pay will be adjusted based upon candidate experience and other job-related factors permitted by law.
