Description
We are searching for an experienced Plant Controller to join our team in Dyersburg, Tennessee. As a Plant Controller, you will be instrumental in overseeing our financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. Your role will be vital in ensuring the financial health and compliance of our operations, providing strategic financial guidance to senior management, and supporting operational efficiency and growth within the manufacturing industry.
Responsibilities
• Establish and maintain robust relationships with senior executives to understand their needs and provide a comprehensive range of business solutions.
• Take the lead in managing our cash management strategy, ensuring optimal cash flow to support company operations and investments.
• Oversee the operations of the accounting department, focusing on designing an organizational structure that effectively achieves the department's goals and objectives.
• Coordinate the preparation of the annual budget, financial forecasts, and report variances, offering strategic analysis and insights to guide business decisions.
• Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes and financial reporting in adherence with GAAP and other regulatory requirements.
• Develop and maintain internal control policies and procedures to safeguard company assets and ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.
• Analyze the company's financial results concerning profits, trends, costs, and compliance with budgets. Issue regular status and ad hoc reports to senior management.
• Coordinate external audits and offer recommendations for procedural improvements.
• Advise on long-term business and financial planning, including exploring new funding and investment opportunities.
Requirements • Proficient in 3M
• Experience with Accounting Software Systems
• Knowledge of ADP - Financial Services
• Familiarity with Eaton
• Proficiency in Epicor
• Ability to handle Accounting Functions
• Experience in managing Accounts Payable (AP)
• Experience in formulating Annual Budget
• Knowledge of Auditing
• Familiarity with Budget Processes
