As the Plant Controller, you will play a pivotal role in steering the financial helm of our Chattanooga facility. Your mission? To ensure the plant's financial performance is top-notch and its competitiveness remains unparalleled. You’ll be at the heart of financial management, ensuring compliance, driving performance, and partnering with management to boost profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Oversight: Ensure compliance with all financial procedures and develop robust internal finance controls.
Reporting & Forecasting: Lead financial forecasting processes including budgets and periodic forecasts. Manage reporting to ensure accuracy, transparency, and timeliness.
Cost Management: Maintain reliable standard costing and provide detailed controlling analyses, including variance and margin analysis.
Operational Partnership: Act as a business partner to plant management, recommending actions to enhance financial performance and cash optimization.
Program Oversight: Participate in business plan validation, monitor new program startups, and lead post-audit activities.
Team Leadership: Manage and develop the controlling team, ensuring alignment with internal rules and ethical standards.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance or a related field.
Experience: 3 to 10 years of professional experience, including a prior controlling role at the plant level.
Skills: Strong accounting knowledge, familiarity with industrial information systems, and excellent communication skills. Fluency in English is required.
