Plant Coordinator (Days)

Pay: $18/HR

Provides administrative and office support to the plant to include scheduling of incoming and outgoing shipments, inventory, and production schedules. Follow all required work safe practices. This would include compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices, wearing of all required PPE in designated areas, confined space safety, safe chemical handling, fall restraints, etc.

\n

Essential Duties:

\n\nReport generation; update and configure weekly Excel reports and e-mail reports to support production team and maintain filing system.\nThe use of the Adage system to maintain shipment documents and to maintain/generate daily production variances, finished product, and ingredient receiving.\nTrack batching vs. packaging variance and report progress. Track rework and products on hold.\nResearch variances and recommend procedures to improve variance.\nSupport the plant in accounting for packaging and ingredient usage. Support the Warehouse on daily receiving and month end inventories.\nPossess a high degree of initiative and flexibility along with the ability to multi-task, accurately prepare & maintain all area paperwork.\nCommunicate with team any issues pertaining to report discrepancies in a timely manner and maintains a professional working relationship with other plant management, customers and vendors.\nUse the team approach in dealing with other supervisors and peers within the facility and respect the decisions made by them.\nPractice GMP’s and support audits, inspections and compliance paperwork.\nOther duties may be assigned.\n\n

Qualifications:

\n\nHigh school diploma or GED preferred\nFluency in English; speak, read, and write.\nPrefer knowledge of manufacturing and warehouse plant operations and procedures\nMust be able to use a lift truck, electric and manual pallet jack.\nAbility to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in whole numbers\nMust be flexible and willing to work the demands of the department which are subject to evening shifts, weekends, and holidays.\nMust be highly proficient in MS Office specifically Word and Excel\n\n
