The Plant Director at Danfoss Editron will be responsible for overseeing all daily operations of the manufacturing plant, ensuring the highest standards of safety, quality, delivery, and cost efficiency (SQDC). This role requires a strategic leader who can drive manufacturing excellence and contribute to the overall business growth and success.
Job Responsibilities
The key responsibilities:
Act as a people leader and culture change agent, leading by example and serving as a role model for integrity and trust. Develop a highly effective and connected team that achieves exceptional results, fostering an environment where the workforce is engaged and aligned with Danfoss values. Lead and manage all aspects of plant operations with full end-to-end responsibility, ensuring optimal performance in safety, quality, delivery, and costs. Implement and drive the manufacturing excellence strategy to consistently meet and exceed customer expectations, both internally and externally. Accountable for managing all operational costs, including variable costs, fixed production costs, and CAPEX, to support business objectives and drive profitable growth. Ensure compliance with all relevant policies, procedures, and business systems, such as the Danfoss Business System. Lead, oversee and support strategic projects and priorities. This includes consolidation of footprint into the new site in Lappeenranta. As a member of the BU global leadership team, contribute to the enhancement of the global BU strategy and promoting and implementing business excellence. Background & Skills

Proven track record as an experienced leader in a sizeable manufacturing plant, demonstrating the ability to deliver results.Strong communication skills, capable of engaging effectively with all stakeholders, both internal and external. Strong communication skills A proactive individual driven to continuously improve processes and enhance team and plant performance. Energetic, creative, and self-driven, with a high level of motivation to achieve results. Experience working in an international organization within a global environment. Proficient in English, with strong written, verbal, and presentation skills.
