Plant Engineer – Combustion Turbine\Hydro Operations

In this role, the Plant Engineer will optimize plant performance, manage capital projects, and ensure compliance with environmental and safety regulations. Some examples of activities include:

Optimize plant performance, manage capital projects, and ensure compliance with environmental and safety regulations. Predict remaining useful life, and budget for mechanical maintenance improvements. Contract and supervise maintenance services, ensure proper maintenance of plant equipment, and administer safety programs. Develop and maintain procedures, schedule and plan outages, and manage Long Term Service Agreement with Mitsubishi. Support NERC compliance, develop apprenticeship programs, and take responsibility for plant operations in the absence of the Manager.

Qualifications:

Engineering Expertise: A degree in engineering with a strong understanding of electrical, mechanical, and civil/structural systems. Project Management Skills: Proven ability to manage capital projects, including construction supervision, budgeting, and scheduling. Safety and Compliance Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of environmental and safety regulations, as well as experience with NERC compliance. Interpersonal and Communication Skills: Excellent written and oral communication skills, along with strong interpersonal abilities to work effectively with diverse teams. Leadership and Problem-Solving Abilities: Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to solve complex problems, ensuring optimal plant performance and maintenance.

Competitive wage & benefit package. The expected base compensation for this role is $70,000 - $100,000 annually. Actual base compensation within the identified range will vary based on factors relevant to the position.
