BS in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Computer Engineering is required.
Proficient in MS Office.
2+ years experience as Engineer is preferred.
Entry level will be considered.
SUMMARY
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Provide technical support and troubleshoot in the event of production equipment issues at
multiple plant locations.
a. Read and analyze electrical drawing, mechanical drawing, and PLC program to
identify the issue and propose solutions
2. Production preparation support.
a. Collect specs and information from plant and customer to share and discuss with
Japanese equipment suppliers.
b. Analyze drawings, technical specs, and other information to confirm equipment and
plant operation feasibility.
c. Perform equipment setting adjustments and quality confirmations for new
components.
3. Equipment improvement and modification support.
a. Collect desired and/or required specs and information from plant and customer to
share and discuss with Japanese equipment suppliers.
b. Support plant and maintenance on day-to-day improvements by physically working
on equipment with maintenances. (electrically and mechanically)
4. Instruct and supervises local contractors for installation, removal, and relocation of

5. Communicate with maintenance staff and provide expertise on equipment.
6. Apply technical knowledge to understand and carry out instructions from Japanese
equipment suppliers in written, verbal, and/or diagram form.
7. Complete machine quality confirmation records and other required documentation at each
plant.
8. Provide answers and advices on technical questions from customers and suppliers.
9. Utilize the IoT data to support plants and prevent machine downtime.
