CROWN Metal Packaging Canada LP, the Canadian division of CROWN Cork & Seal USA is seeking a PLANT PROCESS ENGINEER for its beverage can manufacturing plant located in the Foothills Industrial Park in Southeast Calgary. The Plant Engineer must possess the desire and ability to manage maintenance and repair for all areas of the plant. The Plant Engineer's role is to coordinate all plant maintenance personnel to attend an effective and efficient low-cost plant operation.

Reporting directly to the Plant Manager, the role includes the following but is not limited to,

Job Description:

Planning, design, estimating and implementation of projects that lead to continuous safety, cost and quality improvements Prepare and administer department budget within established guidelines for maintenance and repair of building and equipment Control of capital spending Implementing and managing maintenance programs Overseeing plant and building maintenance to ensure downtime is minimized and regulatory requirements are met Plans and oversees capital expenditure items including equipment purchases, contracted labour and in-house constructions and fabrication projects Facilitates and supports EHS programs

· Performs other job-related duties as required or assigned
