Job Summary
Reporting directly to the plant manager at our Hagerstown, MD manufacturing facility, you will develop and implement overall plant technical strategies focused on engineering projects, maintenance and stores improvement programs. You will help us provide solutions to technical problems and recommendations for improvements in production activities and manage the plant technical organization. You will lead plant specific engineering and maintenance strategies to achieve important performance goals and manage all plant technical expense budgets while working with Corporate Engineering to deliver the capital budget.
What will you do?Assist Plant in establishing safety of all of our team members as the plant's first objective.Lead the implementation of the capital plan including the engagement of related Plant and Corporate functions such as Safety, Sanitation, Quality, Environmental, Maintenance, Finance and OperationsFoster a team-based environment while collaborating with the Plant in setting delineated roles, responsibilities and accountabilities consistent with our principles of CPS.Support the Plant in driving business literacy through education of important business issues and concepts.Work with the Platform Engineering Director and team to resource projectsSupport the Plant in conducting internal systems audits.Lead the Early Management (EM) Pillar Team in the development of long and short-term goals for the Plant.Support the Plant in providing project and technical guidance.Support the Plant in participating and leading project teams that improve safety, quality, labor relations, sanitation, costs and customer service.Lead the Plant in conducting necessary team meetings for proper communications and development of teams. Must work with Maintenance, Quality, Production and Warehouse teams to create a cooperative environment.Give work direction and coordinating mechanical and clerical activities in the maintenance department.What are we looking for?Bachelor's degree in engineering or other related field.Five years' experience in manufacturingExperience leading teams and collaboration with multiple manufacturing departments.Experience with refrigeration and ammonia.Flexibility with schedule to accommodate off shift and weekend requirements when needed.Relocation assistance is available for this position. Preference will be given to local candidates.

Compensation:
Pay Range:$79,000-$115,000The annual salary listed above is the expected offering for this position. An employee’s actual annual salary will be based on but not limited to: location, relevant experience/level and skillset, while balancing internal Conagra employees’ equity. Conagra Brands will comply with applicable law regarding minimum salaries for exempt employees.
