Plant Finance Director

Responsibilities:

Guide and manage the accounting team handling general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, fixed assets, and cost accounting activitiesSupervise the month-end closing cycle to ensure accurate and timely financial reportingLead cost accounting efforts to deliver insightful analysis on production costs and inventory valuationEstablish and uphold strong internal control systems to maintain compliance with accounting principles and regulatory requirementsCollaborate with operations leadership to build financial models, assess manufacturing expenses, and uncover efficiency opportunitiesDirect the development of the annual budget and oversee ongoing forecasting effortsManage the external audit process and serve as the primary liaison with auditorsDeliver financial insights to support capital investment decisions and drive process enhancementsChampion continuous improvements in accounting procedures to boost accuracy and operational efficiency

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA designation is a plusMinimum of 8 years of accounting experience, including at least 5 years in a manufacturing settingAt least 3 years of experience managing accounting teamsDeep understanding of GAAP, internal controls, and financial reporting standardsProven experience in cost accounting and inventory control within a manufacturing environmentSkilled in using ERP platforms and financial reporting toolsStrong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilitiesExcellent leadership and communication skillsFamiliarity with process improvement frameworks is advantageous

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $120000.00 - $150000.00/yr.

3% 401k match. Can accrue up to 80 hours in the first year and then up to 120 hours a year after that.
