Manpower is looking for a manufacturing employee who will be working on the area of the plant that they will likely work is called S5 mixing. They will add chemicals, water, and powder to a mix container. Some of the process is manual and some of it is automated. It mixes on its own. The mix makes a gel material that gets pressed into a log. The temp would make the mix, then remove the log and palletize it. The temp needs to pay attention and make small changes based on the consistency. The logs get used in another machine called Targa, where the gel gets extruded onto a belt and dried to make an abrasive grain. **Location** : Niagara Falls, NY **Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8-hour shifts rotating between days, afternoons, and midnights (May have overtime)** **Pay Rate: $15.00 – $20.00/hour based on experience** **PPE Required:** Safety shoes (composite or steel toe) **Key Responsibilities:** + Set up, operate, adjust, and shut down machinery and equipment + Add chemicals, powders, and water to mix containers (manual and automated) + Monitor mixing process, make adjustments based on gel consistency + Remove and palletize logs of gel material + Ensure high standards of housekeeping and safety + Regularly lift items up to 50 lbs and work in non-temperature-controlled environments + Use PPE at all times while in the facility **Qualifications:** **Required:** + High School Diploma or GED + Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks (bending, standing, climbing) + Reliable attendance and solid work history + Willingness to work flexible shifts **Preferred:** + Previous experience in a manufacturing environment + Forklift certification + Basic computer skills **What Stands Out:** + Strong work ethic and consistent job history + Ability to follow safety standards and quality procedures + Experience with plant operations or forklift usage is a plus **Additional Details:** + Overtime: May be available + PPE Provided: Safety shoes required; other PPE provided if needed + Work Environment: Inside plant, not temperature controlled If this is a role that interests you and you’d like to learn more, click apply now and a recruiter will be in touch with you to discuss this great opportunity.
