We are seeking a skilled Plant I&E Technician to join our team on a long-term contract basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a new 300 MMSCFD cryogenic natural gas processing plant in the Delaware Basin, located in Mentone, Texas.

Role Overview

Install, operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical and controls equipment for the plant Support various equipment including natural gas and liquids separation, condensate stabilization, amine treating and gas dehydration, turbine, reciprocating, and screw compression, and more Contribute to the development of plant maintenance and operating procedures Interface with various teams including plant mechanics, operators, engineers, and safety personnel Play a key role in EOG's proactive safety culture Work onsite at the Janus Plant site near Mentone, Texas Follow a rotational schedule of day shifts with night call-out responsibilities Receive housing during the shift

Skills & Qualifications

Strong knowledge of gas processing and gas compression Experience with project automation plant development Proficiency in instrumentation and electrical work Optional experience with natural gas and liquids separation, condensate stabilization, amine treating and gas dehydration, and more Familiarity with various equipment such as turbines, compressors, refrigeration systems, and more Knowledge of PLCs, plant control systems, safety systems, and communication systems Experience with PDCs, MCCs, transformers, breakers, wiring, motors, VFDs, generators, and other electrical equipment Understanding of electrical substations and power distribution Familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS)

Education & Experience

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience preferred Certifications in relevant areas such as instrumentation or electrical work are advantageous Minimum of 3 years of experience in I&E equipment maintenance and operations
