Position: Plant Integration Engineer – Mechanical and Process Systems

System One is seeking a Plant Integration Engineer – Mechanical and Process Systems who will lead the integration, oversight, and coordination of Energy Island and Nuclear Island mechanical systems. Reporting to the EPC Oversight Senior Manager, this role focuses on supporting the design and integration of the Energy Island steam and power systems, as well as Nuclear Island auxiliary mechanical systems developed by our client's partner.
This position involves providing technical and administrative support across a range of power cycle and auxiliary systems, ensuring cross-functional integration and reviewing deliverables for technical accuracy. The successful candidate will be part of a high-performing engineering team.

Key Qualifications and Skills:
Leadership & Collaboration: Proven leadership skills with the ability to drive cross-functional design collaboration and integrate mechanical/process systems, structures, and components. Experience: Minimum of 10 years of relevant design experience in nuclear or commercial power plant design or modifications, with a focus on mechanical process systems. Teamwork: Strong team-oriented approach with the ability to work effectively with geographically distributed and possibly international design team members. Technical Expertise: Broad-based technical and engineering skills, with experience leading an integrated cross-functional design team. Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey critical design integration information to senior management, the engineering team, and customers. Judgment & Progress Tracking: Ability to work in a first-of-a-kind environment, exercising sound engineering judgment and identifying design progress needed to achieve key project objectives. Quality Standards: Experience working to quality standards such as ASME NQA-1 or ISO 9001. Trust & Integrity: A high degree of trust and integrity, with the ability to communicate openly, foster teamwork, and demonstrate respect for others.
