**Description** Job Title: Plant (IT)Information Technology Technician Location: Omaha, NE Reporting to: Plant IT Supervisor Duties and Responsibilities include, but not limited to: + Include Day to Day repairs of electrical and/or electronic components on electrical pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical systems within all production areas. + Conduct repairs and preventive maintenance on all weighing equipment within the plant; ensuring daily calibration checks are done according to standards set and troubleshooting programmable logic controllers and associated systems. + Setup and maintenance of plant computers and associated equipment + Maintaining plant infrastructure associated with the network etc. + Maintain instrumentation, alarm systems, and scales. + Installation and automation of new equipment and wire appropriately. + Other tasks as directed Key Qualifications, Abilities, and Skills: + Education in IT, college degree preferred but not required + Experience in IT + Electrical and mechanical background + Must have PLC knowledge + Must be able to read prints and schematics + Advanced computer skills + Good written and oral communications skills + Ability to keep record of scale logs JBS is an equal opportunity employer.
