Job DescriptionYour role as Plant Logistic Lead is to coordinate and monitor the two major functions executed by the provider: warehouse management and distribution management. Act as a contract manager and make the interface between O-I and the providers.
Receiving, documenting and temporary warehousing of packaging components for manufacturing operations at the site, storage of finished goods and collection of empty returnable packaging from customers.
Monitor the provider according to the contract KPIFollow the action plan agreed with the providerEnsure that the operation is working in line with business needsChallenge all aspects of Plant logistics costYou may be required to travel to customer sites to undertake stock counts.
The package:
Salary range: £37,000 - £40,000 plus 6% bonus dependant on individual and plant performance33 days holiday including 8 bank holidaysEmployee Assistance Programme and Private Health CoverLife Assurance (4 times salary) and highly competitive pension with minimum company contribution of 8% / employee minimum contribution 3%QualificationsQualifications
