Job Description

The Plant Maintenance Manager assists the Plant Engineer in leading and directing salaried and hourly personnel engaged in all phases of the plant engineering function, including installation, and repair and maintenance of all plant systems, equipment, grounds and facilities.  This individual is expected to place an emphasis on providing a committed and high level of technical service in a safe manner, while partnering with other leaders to produce glass containers at continuously improving levels of quality and efficiency. 

The Plant Maintenance Manager will:

Plan preventive maintenance on equipment, scheduling repairs and upgrades while simultaneously working to maximize plant uptime.Coordinate and supervise all construction and service work performed by outside contractors Assists in implementing corrective actions when necessary.Ensure the quality of work performed by maintenance and production personal.Provide a high level of technical service to produce glass containers at continuously improving levels of quality

The Plant Maintenance Manager should have:

Strong background in mechanical troubleshooting and repair.The ability to oversee, schedule, and train personnel Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement experience/trainingExperience with maintenance management software 

QualificationsHigh School Diploma requiredBachelor’s Degree in Engineering and/or additional training (military, apprenticeship, trade school) is preferredMaintenance leadership experience in a manufacturing facility Leadership abilities and strong interpersonal skills.Proven ability to coach, mentor, and energize team membersGlass industry experience is preferredMust be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis

What we offer at O-I:

Salary Range:  The expected salary range for this position is between $80,000 and $100,000 and includes a possible 12% quarterly incentive bonus.    Actual pay will be adjusted based upon candidate experience and other job-related factors permitted by law.
