Plant Maintenance Supervisor
This is a working leadership position and is expected to contribute to the maintenance activities in the production area at least 70% of the time and perform administrative tasks in the office 30% of the time.
Plan, administer, and monitor progress for all Maintenance activities, including Preventive Maintenance, Corrective, & Urgent Maintenance workflow and activities in the current CMMS program (eMaint).
Oversight of special projects including planning, contract management, vendor performance, and testing.
Provide input on ways to manage the cost of maintenance and optimize department maintenance execution as well as manage use of outside contractors.
Provide hands-on leadership of the Maintenance team daily and project activities to ensure efficiency and productivity of the Production Maintenance team.
Provide mentoring and coaching for Maintenance team, as well as participation in Training activities, to promote professional development of the department. Conduct periodic performance reviews with direct reports.
Communicate status of work in progress, as well as provide frequent updates to Maintenance Manager and site on emergent issues.
Ensure all documentation is accurate and complete.
Demonstrate leadership skills as well as positive influence in safety, environmental, quality, productivity, and people development.
