Plant Manager **Location:** Tulsa, OK, United States, 74115 **Company:** Chart Industries **_Ensuring Chart’s Success…_** **The Plant Manager will be responsible for** day-to-day oversight of all operations associated with production in our Tulsa, Oklahomamanufacturing facility, whichdesigns, manufactures, and services cryogenic solutions for the storage and delivery of cryogenic liquids used in industrial gas, food, beverage, medical, chemical, agricultural and energy applications. This location manufactures large welded pressure vessels that have high mix, lower volume per product. This individual will be responsible to plan, direct and coordinate all manufacturing, buying, scheduling and production planning,andrelated functions for the assigned facilities to achieve efficient, economical and timely production of company products and to maintain the highest standards of quality and safety to accomplish division objectives and to achieve profit and investment return goals. **The ideal candidate will be a** strong leader and results driven. Effective communicator able to formulate and present information to employees, as well as management and customers. Define problems, collect and analyze data, establish facts, draw conclusions and offer insights and solutions. Lastly, the ideal candidate will have a passion for developing people. **_What Your Day-to-Day Activities Will Be…_** + Success will be measured based on:Quality,On time delivery,Lead times,Labor efficiency, Cost,Safety audit and incident rate,Productivity improvements + Drive a safety-based culture throughwork practices, procedures and adherence toOSHA regulations + Develop, establish and implement long range and short-term plans, operation policies, etc. for the location. + Provide direct leadership of the continuous improvement vision, objectives and developing corrective actions + Supervise and coordinate the various programs essential to manufacturing, e.g. training, safety, housekeeping, work simplifications, cost reduction, wage and salary administration, plant protection and security, etc. + Plan and determine direct and indirect manpower requirements based on forecasts. + Delegate projects to Managerial and Staff Personnel for research, development and evaluation of adaptability, economic feasibility and extent of procedural change. + Ensure appropriateness of the Quality Policy and effectiveness of Quality System through measures. **_Your Education Should Be…_** Bachelor's Degree, in lieu of degree an additional 4 years or relevant experience **_Your Physical Work Environment Will Require…_** + Indoor Office Environment + Outdoor/Shop Environment + Noisy/Loud Shop Environment **_Your Professional Experience Should Be…_** + 8 years related experience including: + Managing large production facility of 150+ employees + Experience with highly engineered products + Automation of processes + Welding large vessels preferred + Familiar with Lean and Six Sigma techniques + Demonstrated ability to lead/develop teams and individuals + Demonstrated ability to identify/execute continuous improvement activities + Demonstrated ability to effectively write and deliver business correspondence **_Chart is an equal opportunity employer..._**
