Plant Manager

Job Summary:

Ruggable is looking for a Plant Manager to join our Los Angeles plant leadership team! The LA Plant Manager position directs and manages all plant operations with overall accountability for safety, production, maintenance, quality, cost control, and all other production-related activities. The Plant Manager will also drive forward-thinking continuous improvement and optimization of all processes within the plant.

What You’ll Do: 

Commit to and drive a relentless focus on safety Provide leadership for day-to-day operations in order to deliver the best possible product for our customers at the optimal lead time Increase production, assets capacity, and flexibility while minimizing unnecessary costs and maintaining company quality standards using Lean tools and continuous improvement Develop and maintain plant culture that aligns with Ruggable's core values Develop, collect, and analyze production data to identify process inefficiencies and develop strategic plans to drive improvement Identify cost savings opportunities and develop business plans to realize the savings Implement and maintain preventative maintenance programs for equipment Provide leadership and training to accomplish the company goals and objectives Provide direction, development, and leadership to Plant Management Team

What You’ll Need to Have:

Required:

B.S. in Mechanical/Industrial Engineering, or related technical field 5 - 7 years of experience in fast-paced manufacturing environment 5 - 7 years of experience directing, creating, and coaching a large team Plant Management competencies - budgeting, strategic planning, resource allocation, cost controls, and leadership development Familiarity with industry standards, equipment, technical expertise, and regulations Expert level knowledge of designing and improving manufacturing processes 2 - 3 years experience making measurable improvement using lean tools Ability to be operate in all stages of a plant operations with limited direction Experience building high-performance teams training and coaching employees

Preferred: 

Prior experience managing Plant Operations Experience in eCommerce Business Master's Education in Industrial/Mechanical Engineering

Compensation:

$140,000 - $160,000 per year base salary An annual bonus percentage that varies based on level of role Employer matching (up to 3% of base salary) for company sponsored 401K plan
