**Job Title: Plant Manager** **Job Description** Maintain staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees. Ensure a safe, secure, and legal work environment while developing personal growth opportunities. Accomplish staff results by communicating job expectations, planning, monitoring, and appraising job results. Coach, counsel, and discipline employees while developing, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, procedures, and productivity standards. Establish strategic goals by gathering pertinent business, financial, service, and operations information. Identify and evaluate personal networks, benchmark state-of-the-art practices, and participate in professional societies. Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. Communicate regularly with other managers, directors, vice presidents, presidents, and other designated contacts within the organization. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Oversee daily operations, manage and recommend budget items, aid HR in resolving personnel issues, and drive continuous improvement projects to increase efficiency and reduce operation costs. The facility is not temperature controlled; however, we do open windows for air drying.
