Job Title: Plant Manager
Job Description

The Plant Manager will provide oversight and leadership in the Operations area by ensuring the timely production of quality products that meet or exceed customer expectations while adhering to all safety and quality requirements. The position will oversee, manage, and continually improve the day-to-day operation of the plant. They will have shift supervisors on 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts reporting to them. Rotational Molding experience is a must-have.

ResponsibilitiesOversee the daily workflow of the plant.Drive performance to achieve financial and operational targets and communicate across the organization to ensure attainment of targets.Establish and achieve production metrics.Coordinate with production scheduling to ensure customer due dates are met, staffing is appropriate to meet the plan, and that the plant maintains proper inventory levels.Communicate priorities, goals, and objectives to production supervisors.Ensure writing and updating of operating instructions.Ensure compliance with SOPs and quality standards in production activities.Develop, implement, and administer programs for improving manufacturing operations.Perform other duties as assigned.Essential SkillsSix SigmaOperations managementContinuous improvementManufacturing processOperationProject managementManagement skillsSupervisionAdditional Skills & QualificationsExperience in rotational moldingWhy Work Here?

Work Environment

Plastic manufacturing environment. Non-climate controlled with fans and misters spread throughout the facility, but it will be hot. Typical manufacturing environment. The role is 60/40 in office versus out in the plant.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Gainesville, Texas.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $91000.00 - $120000.00

Full benefit coverage.
40 hours PTO in first year, 80 hours PTO after first year.
paid day off on birthday

Workplace Type

This is a fully onsite position in Gainesville,TX.
