Plant Manager

What will your responsibilities be?
Create profit plan including budgets, personnel and investment plans
Put into practice approved plans and create action and measures plan
Assure that all corporate guidelines and procedures, in particular BOS, Kaizen, JCMS, Six Sigma, VA/VE are adhered to
Communicate regularly with direct reports and management and supervise their performance in all functions including performance evaluation
Assure a timely cost efficient and high-quality production in keeping with the technology level
Procure, construct and maintain buildings, machinery and equipment necessary for plan execution
Control deviations from the planned “actual” values and introducing corrective measures
HSEE :
Follow all Health & Safety and Environmental requirements that are defined on work instructions or communicated in training
Follow required emergency prevention and operational controls
Report all accidents, occupational illnesses and emergencies
Quality:
Apply, execute and maintain function related BOS issues
In addition to the above mentioned tasks other activities and responsibilities may be individually defined
Which qualifications are we looking for in potential employees?
Engineering or engineering technology degree
Several years’ experience in automotive suppliers industry
Experience in manufacturing technology, engineering and product quality
Management experience in Knowledge management
Ability to fluently communicate in English and German language
Interpersonal Skills/Teamwork: Ability to cooperate with people of different levels inside/ outside the company and to interact with team to reach team goals and business objectives
Leadership: Ability to empower others to achieve results through motivation, recognition and performance feedback
Communication: Ability to express information in a manner appropriate to different levels of people & to lead negotiations
Customer Satisfaction/Total Quality: Ability to recognize, respond to customer expectations with sense of urgency and even increase expectations
Initiative/Execution/Innovation: Ability to take actions, decisions & to generate ideas, products, processes in promised timely manner
Ownership/Commitment: Ability to take full responsibility for decisions & results even when all elements are not under individual direct control
Planning/Balance: Ability to set goals in consistency with company objectives and to adapt plans to changing environment
Health & Safety Awareness: Ability to identify and eliminate health, safety, ergonomic and environmental hazards in workplace
