**About the role:**
**Plant Manager**
**MAIN OBJECTIVE**
Within the framework of company goals and policies, ensuring the necessary coordination to operate the business in the most efficient manner. Taking on organizational and operational leadership in production and production planning to ensure that production is carried out in accordance with cost, efficiency, and quality management system guidelines. Additionally, managing the existing workforce in line with production, quality, environmental, and occupational safety objectives while representing the company in the best possible way before all official and private institutions in the city and region where the business is located.
**REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS**
**Education Level:** University
**Field of Study:** Preferably Mechanical Engineering; otherwise, any other Engineering major
**Work Experience:** Minimum 7 years of experience, preferably with at least 4 years in a managerial role
**Other Requirements (Foreign Language, Computer Skills, etc.):**
+ Proficiency in English
+ Knowledge of MS Office, SAP, ERP, and MRP

**KEY OBJECTIVES**
+ Ensure efficient factory operations in line with company strategies and production goals.
+ Oversee production processes, ensuring efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
+ Maintain compliance with legal, safety, and corporate standards.
+ Optimize resource utilization and workforce management.
+ Represent the company in regulatory and stakeholder interactions.
**PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES**
+ **Production & Operations Management:**
+ Lead factory operations, ensuring smooth production processes and optimal resource utilization.
+ Supervise production planning, machinery maintenance, and procurement of materials.
+ Ensure compliance with cost, efficiency, and quality management standards.
+ **Process Improvement & Compliance:**
+ Develop and implement systematic audits and process improvement initiatives.
+ Oversee ISO 9000 Quality Assurance and HACCP Food Safety systems, ensuring proper implementation and training.
+ Establish and maintain a structured quality and operational control system.
+ **Budgeting & Cost Control:**
+ Manage and oversee the factory’s annual production and investment budget.
+ Monitor and analyze financial reports, ensuring budget adherence and cost optimization.
+ Collaborate with procurement to secure cost-effective supply chain solutions.
+ **Regulatory & Stakeholder Relations:**
+ Ensure compliance with industry regulations, labor laws, and corporate policies.
+ Act as the primary contact for government institutions, local authorities, and other stakeholders.
+ Lead the legal documentation process, including permits, renewals, and regulatory compliance.
+ **Workforce & HR Management:**
+ Supervise and optimize workforce planning, ensuring efficient allocation of labor resources.
+ Support employee development initiatives, training programs, and career planning.
+ Oversee payroll processing, compensation, and compliance with labor agreements in collaboration with HR.
+ **Inventory & Supply Chain Management:**
+ Ensure accurate tracking and control of factory stock levels.
+ Monitor procurement and supplier performance to prevent material shortages or excess inventory.
+ Implement security measures to prevent inventory damage, waste, or theft.
+ **Facility & Security Management:**
+ Oversee the factory’s general maintenance, safety, and security operations.
+ Ensure a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
+ Implement security protocols to safeguard assets, employees, and operational continuity.
+ **QHSE & Business Ethics Compliance:**
+ Uphold quality, health, safety, and environmental (QHSE) standards in factory operations.
+ Ensure compliance with Diageo’s business ethics, procedures, and corporate policies.
+ Foster a culture of continuous improvement, sustainability, and ethical business conduct.
