Improved operational effectiveness
Using Lean manufacturing concepts initiate plans and process which minimize manufacturing costs through effective utilization of staff, equipment, facilities, materials, and capital Ensure that customer specifications are consistently met or exceeded Implement manufacturing strategies and action plans to ensure that the facility supports strategic initiatives Manage spending against budget and in relation to changes in production volume Meet or exceed standards for environmental, safety, working conditions and cleanlinessDevelop and implement comprehensive plans to develop employees
Identify areas of vulnerability and development action plan to address Establish group and individual accountabilities Address talent deficiencies using established methodsDrive Culture initiatives that focus on engaging our employees and increasing employee engagement.
Drive continuous progress against culture action plans and support the implementation of countermeasures where appropriate Maintain good management/union relationship Facilitate and drive Division Lean initiatives, regular communication meetings and employee recognition activities Maintain department integrity through compliance of safety and food safety guidelines Shares an obligation to protect and strengthen Graphic Packaging International’s good reputation in our relationships with customers, employees, suppliers, competitors, investors, and governmental agencies, and to act consistently with our strategic pillars: Innovation, Culture, Planet and Results. JOB SPECIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s Degree along with a minimum of ten years operational management experience within in the packaging industry
Technical and problem-solving skills
Demonstrated supervisory and project management skills
Demonstrated ability to facilitate process improvement teams
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills, ability to motivate people
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Outlook, and Internet skills
Lean Manufacturing experiences a plus
Pay Range: $123,215.00 - $164,255.00
