Plant Manager - Huron

As a Plant Manager, you will provide operational management for the safe, on time, and efficient output for multiple lines of business. You will contribute to the profitability of the business by coordinating EHS, production, quality control, continuous improvement, maintenance, and engineering, receiving and shipping.

You will work onsite at the Huron, Ohio facility and report to the Manufacturing Director, North America.

Key Responsibilities

Oversight of approximately 200+ people both directly and indirectly by supporting production for 3 lines of business each with multiple production lines running across three shifts daily.Use quality methods, Lean Sig Sigma, other tools and set up along with team actions to improve production flow, quality and cost efficiency.Champion Continuous Improvement programs and deliver with cohesive change management practices.Evaluate equipment, facility, warehousing/distribution and process needs, and prepare capital authorizations to meet all needs.Develop a work force that is accomplished, motivated and committed to organizational goals.Engage multiple stakeholders in the development and execution of operational strategies focused on safety, quality and growth.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Chemistry or related; an advanced degree, such as MBA, is favorable.10+ years’ experience as a Plant Manager within Chemical Operations or Production & Manufacturing operations.Fluent in DMAIC/DFLSS and Kaizen project execution.
