IT Engineer – Plant Manufacturing – DoD SkillBridge Internship:

Service Member SkillBridge Criteria:

Must meet all DoD SkillBridge Instruction eligibility requirementsMust be a current Active Duty ServicememberMust be separating from the Military in 4-12 monthsMust be able to complete a minimum of 120 days and up to a maximum of 6 months internshipMust be able to complete 40 hours per week

As a Plant Manufacturing IT Engineer SkillBridge Intern, reporting to the Team Lead of the Digital Plant Team, you will develop, train, and help ensure seamless integration of information technology and manufacturing processes within our production facilities. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve our manufacturing operations, enhance efficiency, and drive continuous improvement projects using modern IT solutions. You will have an exciting opportunity to be at the forefront of technology-driven advancements in the food manufacturing industry.

This opportunity is a hybrid schedule with 1 day remote/4 days on-site supporting Conagra's Council Bluff plant in Iowa (10 minutes away from Omaha, Nebraska) with SkillBridge duration open from 120-180 days upon approval.

SkillBridge Position:

Gain expertise in and advocate for the implementation of self-service and automated systems management and provisioning solutionsCultivate business relationships with Plant Leadership and other relevant stakeholders within the organizationTraining objectives will include system patching, imaging, backups, and other servicesWork with Windows operating systems/Microsoft technologiesSolidify basic knowledge of networkingDevelop tools that enhance operational efficiency and minimize downtime, ensuring smooth business operationsCollaborate with our third-party service partner to ensure business partner-centric service deliveryPerform refresh activities. Ensuring security standards are metAsset Management for assigned sitesDomestic Travel: Up to 15% 

Position Requirements

Work in partnership with team members on projects that align with the strategic priorities of the organizationCollaborate with various internal IT departments to achieve common goals and objectivesExperience working with Vendors or IT outsourcers Troubleshooting and escalation skillsKnowledge of Windows Servers, DNS, DHCP and IP ConfigurationsStay well-informed of new technologies and trends relevant to the IT field
