Job Description SummaryAs a Master Scheduler for the GE Dayton-Unison business, you will be responsible for master scheduling assembled finished goods for a specific subset of Dayton's portfolio, coordinating schedules and expediting the flow of materials throughout the manufacturing cycle according to production schedules and capacity planning. You will be integral to the successful alignment of the manufacturing operation and supply base to the needs of our customers. The role has some autonomy but is focused on execution of activities within an operating discipline generally covered by standard functional practices and procedures. Some judgment may be required but this is typically with guidance from a peer Master Scheduler.

Job DescriptionEssential Responsibilities

In addition, as the Lead Materials Planning & Execution Specialist, you will:

Manage master planning, material processes and systems, prepare and update production schedules and purchasing needs.  Ensure operational alignment with production plan and KPIs.  Optimize inventory and process improvements.Develop in-depth knowledge of a technical discipline. Use prior experience and acquired technical expertise to execute policy/strategy.In-depth understanding of key business drivers; uses this understanding to accomplish own work. In-depth understanding of how work of own team integrates with other teams and contributes to the area.Liaise between Unison Customer Program or GE Planning teams, manufacturing cells and Production Planners.Coordinate S&OP supply review responses and execute approved changes in a timely manner.Identify and problem-solve sources of schedule instability or data quality issues.Apply FLIGHT DECK fundamentals to optimize scheduling and material flow processes.Uses some level of judgment and has ability to propose different solutions outside of set parameters but with guidance. Uses prior experience and on-the-job training to solve straightforward tasks. Has access to technical skills and analytic thinking required to solve problems. May use multiple internal sources outside of own team to arrive at decisions.

Qualifications/RequirementsBachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (Or a high school diploma / GED with a minimum of 4 years of experience in Manufacturing)At least 2 years of experience in Materials Planning and Execution
