What you will do in this role:

Reportsdailyto theDirectorofPlantOperationsregardingthe physical and structural conditionsofhospital facilities and the statusofworkin progressParticipates in the applications ofstandards ofqualityandproductivityfor thefacility.Followspolicies,procedures and standards ofworkperformance for maintenance and repairofequipment,buildingsandbuildingsystemsWorksclosely with otherdepartmentsandadministration.Negotiatespriorities,plansworkschedules,completesjob assignments,and requestsordersofneededmaterials,supplies and partsPerformsandcompletesmaintenancerepairwork,alterations,remodeling,minorconstruction,andchecksoutinstallation and servicingofmechanical andelectrical equipmentandbuildingsystemsAssistswithcoordination ofall fire and safety measuresthroughoutthe hospital,includingfire andsafety inspections and procedures in conjunctionwithSafety andSecurityDepartmentswhen requestedOtherduties asassigned
Qualifications

HighSchool diplomaorthe equivalentAtleast2 years’ experiencewithmaintenance preferablyin ahospital settingFamiliarity with Joint Commission and other regulatorypolicyand procedures highly preferredAble to communicateeffectivelyinEnglish,bothverballyand in writingBasiccomputer skills

Compensation is from $23 - $30 hourly. We would expect those hired into this job would be paid within this hourly rate, however, certain circumstances may allow us to pay outside of this hourly rate.

Our rehabilitation programs provide ongoing care and specialized treatment to patients throughout their recovery journey. We offer customized, intense rehabilitation tailored to the individual needs of those recovering from stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injury.
