Plant Operator Details:

Direct Hire position$30.92 /hourVarious shifts availableResponsible for supporting plant operations related to rail and freight loading/unloading, as well as operating basic process equipment.Work is performed in both outdoor and indoor environments with adequate ventilation.May involve exposure to fumes or airborne particles such as dust, smoke, or other air contaminants.Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is provided and required for all employees.Moderate noise levels are typical, especially when working near operating equipment.Monitor the movement of products to and from storage tanks, coordinating with team members to ensure a steady and safe product flow.Record key operating data, such as quantities pumped, gauge readings, and operating times, either manually or using computer systems.Inspect vessels for cleanliness and verify they meet loading procedures and weight requirements.Perform railcar groundwork, including connecting/disconnecting couplers and air lines, and assisting with railcar spotting.Set manual brakes on railcars as needed.Support general site upkeep, including groundskeeping tasks like weed removal.Take on additional duties as assigned to support plant operations

Plant Operator Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED is required.Must have a valid driver’s license & must be able to drive at night as needed.Basic math skills, including the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.Able to calculate rates, ratios, and percentages as needed for operational tasks.Basic computer skills required (e.g., data entry, email, basic system navigation).Ability to climb stairs, ramps, and similar structuresMust be able to lift, carry, pull, or move objects weighing up to 50 pounds occasionally.Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
