Position Purpose:This role will ensure both incinerators are running at optimal capacity and within compliance. Also ensures health & safety and operational requirements are met throughout the shift.
Key Job Activities:Maintaining the two incinerators from the control room ensuring the plant is running to its capacity and compliantly.
To assist with any first line breakdown / defect repairs and or support maintenance engineers.
When on night/quieter shifts will be ensuring the planned preventative maintenance carried out
Review handover from previous shift, Complete the shifts handover report and KPI reporting with the Site Supervisor.
To participate in plant shutdowns as necessary.
Shift inspections carried out, including work safe observations and reporting of good catches as well as resolving good catches, updating reporting systems.
Education:Required Education: High School or equivalent.
Experience (EMEAA):Preferred Experience: Good knowledge & understanding.
Preferred certifications and/or licenses: COSHH, IOSH, forklift, confined space, Environmental permitting & awareness, Accident & investigation, Permit to work, Hazard identification & risk assessment, Asbestos awareness, Legionella awareness, Fire awareness, Working at height, hand arm vibration, Electrical safety, Fire marshall, MEWP, Tower scaffold, slinging & lifting.

IT software packages competent.
