Your mission, roles and responsibilitiesThe role of the Product Launch Team Leader, is to be responsible for all the manufacturing aspects of the Program from program award (phase 1) until Start of Production (SOP) + 6 months.
Responsibilities:
• Responsible for all manufacturing aspects regarding the Product Launch and coordination of Plant activities to support the launch of the new Programs in the Plant.
• Study, develop in detail, validate, release and set-up the complete production system of the product launch in the plant: equipment and tools interfaces, layout, process flow charts, material and information flow etc.
• To coordinate the installation, reception and commissioning of all production equipment related to the product launch.
• Achieve the goals of the new launches within the plant (QCDP targets), capabilities such as process and machine, PPM (parts per 1000000) and scrap rates, CAPEX (investments), depreciation, value added costs Logistics gross margin, such as process and machine capabilities, MPM, PPM and scrap rate, added value and logistics costs;
• According to the PMS (program management system), identify the resources needed for the product launch, (workload, skills and profiles) and coordinate activities.
• Analyze industrial and technical tasks during prototype build.
• Managing the launch of production at the plant.
• Coordinate the installation and launch of all production equipment and tooling.
• Ensure achievements process, equipment and FMEA.
• Manage the approval process for parts production in the plant (including test series).
• Support the production ramp up.
• Implement all changes in the system of production and / or product (as of Engineering Change Management)
• Establish a monthly reporting on the progress of its business (3PR level 2)
• Communicate analysis of all manufacturing risks and their associated action plans and their opportunities on a regular basis as appropriate (ie. Daily, weekly, monthly)
• Be the voice of the Plant and the interface between the Plant and Project team.
Essential: Degree level qualification or equivalent
Desirable: 3 years experience in product launch
