A Plant Room Technician will monitor and maintain the BMS and related equipment, CCTV and SMATV systems in good working condition support the Engineering Team to efficiently maintain all hotel operations

What will I be doing?

\n\n

As a Plant Room Technician, you will monitor and maintain the BMS and related equipment, CCTV and SMATV systems in good working condition. 

\n\n\n\tAble to read and comprehend Air-conditioning, Building electrical and mechanical drawings.\n\tCarryout Preventive maintenance of Chillers, Pumps,motors and CT fans\n\tMaintain all water features including swimming pool.\n\tExpert knowledge and understanding of Building Management System.\n\tCapable of interacting with BMS and related equipment.\n\tAble to produce and comprehend all needed reports.\n\tGood understanding of planned preventive maintenance and safety programs.\n\tExperience and knowledge of Hotel maintenance environment.\n\tAble to help around the department.\n\tFlexible team player, Reliable and able to work on own initiative.\n\tFollows all safety rules and regulations in job, departmental procedures and instructions.\n\tWorks closely with peers to assist in their job when requested by supervisor.\n\tAttains all departmental meetings and training classes.\n

What are we looking for?

As a Plant Room Technician, you will monitor and maintain the BMS and related equipment, CCTV and SMATV systems in good working condition. To successfully fill this role, you should maintain the attitude, behaviours, skills, and values that follow:

\n\n\n\tElectrical/Mechanical Trade skill or Diploma\n\t2 years as a Building Management System Attendant in a reputable Hotel, Hospital or Building\n\tKnowledge of the appropriate stock levels for any given item kept in inventory and the amount of time the item will be fresh. \n\tBasic mathematical skills necessary to track and receive specific volume deliveries. \n\tAbility to read, write and speak the English language sufficient to complete forms and inventories, read billings and invoices and communicate with coworkers and purveyors. \n\tAbility to grasp, lift and/or carry items up to 50 lbs. overhead or otherwise, move or push goods on a hand cart/truck weighing up to approximately 300 lbs. goods must be moved one or more items at a time, depending on size and weight at a continuous schedule. \n\n\n
