Compensation

$85,000-$100,000 Per year plus outstanding benefits!

Job Summary

This position is responsible for the manufacturing business activity of the locations assigned, including development of operating schedules and administrative activities necessary for profitability. 

Safety Participating actively in company safety programs, including safety huddles, one-on-one safety conversations, and reporting of close calls  Ensure safety remains a highest priority through inspections, follow ups and engineering improvements at all HMA locations  Ensure safety and environmental regulations are up to date as needed  Oversee permitting and environmental requirements, assuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations  Fostering the safety culture by making good/safe decisions  Participating in safety incident investigation and following through on any corrective actions  Following all safety policies and procedures, including LOTOTO, Motor Vehicle Policy, Drug & Alcohol Policy, etc. Quality Managing quality customer service and efficient response  Ensuring proper order entry and detail  Keeping manageable delivery schedules for the dispatchers and drivers   Understanding needs of customers and geographic capabilities for our team  Functional/Technical Maximize efficiencies between production at batch and drum plants, working closely with sales and scheduling to ensure maximum utilization of each plant daily.  Optimize raw material consumption at each location.  Collaborate with Quality Control to investigate and implement new procedures and technologies to reduce energy consumption and increase production capacities.  Manage the continuation and further certification of facilities in 6S.  Oversee the OCP process along with CPI.  Approve purchase orders for facilities.  Manage preventative and winter maintenance budgets at facilities.  Teamwork and Collaboration Ensuring an open line of communication between the Regional Manager, Superintendents, Quality Control, and Dispatchers  Ensuring high level of customer service, building positive relationships with customers and team  Managing guidelines with Operations for maintenance and repair of equipment  Preparing appropriate capital plans in conjunction with Regional Manager for review  Education and Minimum Experience

Bachelor’s degree or 5+ years’ Experience in a similar role / plant operation, coordination of schedules, or customer service 

Working Conditions And Physical Demands Exempt position:  Monday – Friday, Saturdays as needed  Ability to sit and stand or drive for extended periods  Travel between site locations  Out of town travel possible w/ trainings/seminars  Core Compentencies Excellent people and customer service skills  Ability to use computers and software  Good coordination and communication skills  Ability to work with minimal supervision  Proven ability to work with others as a team  Responsible, reliable, and dependable  Ability to Manage professionally that gains respect of teams
