**91764BR** **Job Title:** PLANT SUPERINTENDENT **Department/Function:** Human Resources **Job Description:** **Plant Superintendent, Archer Daniels Midland Company, Chattanooga, TN.** Review existing processes to advise on improvements for operation production from conception to start-up. Track and understand department costs, yields, quality, process performance. Conduct project design, development, and management specific to department requirements. Support plant maintenance activities, including work orders, preventative and predictive maintenance programs, lubrication. Collaborate with on-site contractors to determine staffing levels, costs, productivity, and safety. Maintain compliance with all regulatory permits and laws at operation sites. Create structured management system to organize and align department goals and effectively communicate tasks. 40 hrs/week, Mon-Fri, 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. **MINIMUM** **REQUIREMENTS** **:** Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent degree, in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field and three (3) years of related work experience. Must have experience/knowledge with/in the following: + Reviewing root cause of deviations from KPIs; + Leveraging continuous improvement tools to achieve department and plant KPI's; + Utilizing ParcView to meet production targets and needs; + Utilizing PlantPax to train and comprehend process controls; and + Applying Wave and AFE to prepare projects.
