The Plant Training Coordinator is responsible for developing, coordinating, and delivering training programs to ensure employees are equipped with the knowledge and skills necessary for success. This role supports onboarding, job-specific training, safety, and compliance across all departments. The coordinator works closely with operations, HR, and leadership teams to maintain training standards and foster a culture of continuous learning and development. We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Training Coordinator to develop, implement, and oversee employee training programs, with a strong focus on hands-on training on the production floor. This role will ensure employees are properly trained in company procedures, safety protocols, and production processes to optimize performance and maintain high standards of quality and safety. This role is ideal for someone with strong communication and organizational skills—someone who loves helping others succeed and wants to be a key player in our ongoing development efforts. **What You’ll Do** + Coordinate, schedule, and facilitate onboarding and training programs for new and existing employees. + Conduct hands-on training on the production floor, ensuring employees understand equipment operation, safety procedures, and production workflows. + Train new hires and existing employees on equipment specified on training plans. + Collaborate with Managers and Supervisors to identify training needs and skills gaps. + Utilize and maintain the Skills Matrix to identify employee cross functional capabilities and skills gaps. + Develop clear, user-friendly training documents and training videos such as Standard Work, Training Guides, One Point Lessons, and Training Plans tailored to production tasks and machinery. + Conduct training validation assessments for new and existing employees. + Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness and accuracy of training plans, training materials, and validation assessments, making improvements as needed. + Maintain accurate training records, track completion rates, and adjust materials as processes evolve. + Leverage platforms such as SAP, Weever, and Alchemy to manage, track, and report on training. + Communicate effectively with all levels of the team and serve as a visible training resource on the plant floor. + Perform administrative duties such as: create badges, create new hire packets, distribute boot vouchers, provide tours for job applicants, etc. + Contribute and assist with team-building activities, onboarding events, and community engagement efforts as needed. Support site events and employee feedback initiatives that foster retention and development. + Ensure all training complies with safety regulations and company policies. + Support continuous improvement by identifying and implementing training best practices. + Act as a point of contact for employee training-related questions and guidance. + Perform other duties as assigned. **What You’ll Bring** + 2+ years of experience as a Training Coordinator, Production Trainer, or similar role in a manufacturing or industrial environment. + Strong understanding of production operations, manufacturing equipment, and safety standards. + Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. + Ability to lead group training and work one-on-one with employees at all skill levels. + Strong organizational and record-keeping abilities. + Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with LMS, Enterprise Resource software (ERP/SAP), and Video Editing Software is a plus. + Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work across multiple shifts and adapt to a 24/7 production environment. Flexibility to support operational shifts and adjust schedule to meet training needs. + Familiarity with GMP, HACCP, and safety protocols (especially for food manufacturing sites). + Mechanically inclined with strong documentation and technical writing skills. **What Makes You Stand Out** + A natural trainer and motivator who enjoys helping others learn and grow. + Skilled in simplifying complex processes and creating easy-to-follow training materials. + Skilled at creating and delivering engaging, hands-on learning experiences + Highly organized with an eye for detail and follow-through + Experienced with audiovisual tools and eLearning content creation. + Organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting. + A collaborative team player with a hands-on, solutions-focused mindset who brings energy, empathy, and drive to the workplace. **Physical Requirements** + Frequent time spent on the production floor; must be comfortable working in a manufacturing environment. + Must be able to stand and walk up to 90% of the shift. + Ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently. + Ability to adjust schedule to meet training needs to support all operational shifts as needed. + Must meet vision requirements, including color perception. **Why Join Us** We believe our people are our greatest asset.
