Summary

This role’s primary responsibility is to operate trucks and deliver various products in & around the Simplot Plant. 

Key Responsibilities Haul, load, and handle products as assigned while maintaining efficiencies, such as fuel and best hauling and loading practices Inspects truck for defects before, during, and after trips and submits report indicating truck condition Must be able to back up and maneuver in and around tight areas Maintains electronic driver log according to DOT regulations Regularly inspects truck equipment and supplies such as tires, lights, brakes, fuel, oil, and water Typical Education High School Diploma or General Education (GED) CDL Truck Driver school Relevant Experience 1+ years related experience and/or training Required Certifications Must have a valid Class A CDL with proper endorsements and a valid DOT Medical Certification
