Production Engineering Specialist
Your role and responsibilitiesManages systematic problem solving and troubleshooting the injection molding/assembly equipment.Responsible for all aspects of plastic injection molding involving production setup, operations, and technological advancements to improve overall efficiency of the plastics operation.Maintain systems pertaining to molding operations, i.e. work instructions, S.O.P’s, and revision control.Assist engineers with products improvements through modifications to existing tooling and manufacturing techniques.Assist with production setup when required.Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules and regula-tionsKnowledge of existing materials commonly used in the fabrication of plastic products.Communicates respectfully with all team members. Ensures shift change is completed and forms are filled out with accurate and appropriate in-formation.
Qualifications for the role2-5 years molding experience/manufacturing experience 2-5 years plastics process development, tooling developing/fabricating of injection moldsPrevious experience in physically demanding work in factory environment preferredAbility to lift to 40lbs and perform push/pull functions Can work up to 20 hours of overtime to meet Business ObjectivesCan work a weekend schedule as needed
